Why has this qualification been superseded?

Nationally recognised qualifications are regularly updated to ensure that the skills and knowledge embedded in the training package is current.

How will this affect new and existing students?

To complete the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, all assessments for this course must be submitted and assessed before 30 September 2017.

If there are any delays to our application, or if the options for completing the qualification are not suitable to you, we can arrange a refund for training you have not yet attended as well as assist with you with finding another provider suitable to your needs.

Changes to the TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

When the new training package is endorsed, TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills will become a compulsory, core unit of the TAE Certificate IV.  This will replace the unit: BSBCMM401A Make a presentation. If you enrolled under the previous Cert IV program you can still complete this version qualification or transition to the new Cert IV program structure.

TAELL411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills will also be offered as a one-day course for those who already hold a Certificate IV and require this new unit.

Assessment

Recognition Assessment

All participants shall have access to and can apply for recognition assessment (RA) on enrolment for all unit(s) of competency in this qualification. Assessment

Assessments will occur both during the course off-the-job and on-the-job through workplace-based projects enabling learners to demonstrate competency against the nationally endorsed standards. The standard assessment deadline is 8 weeks from the date the student attends the face-to-face module. Extension can be negotiated and granted within reason.

Recognition of Prior Learning

All participants shall have access to and can apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL) on enrolment for all unit(s) of competency in this qualification. Candidates who consider that they already possess and can demonstrate the competencies outlined in the unit(s) of competency shall be granted credit on substantiation.

Duration

Typically students take between 12 and 24 months to complete the qualification.

Certification

Upon successful completion of all course modules and assessments students will be issued with the Nationally Recognised qualification - BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management.

Upon successful completion of an individual course module and relevant assessment students will receive a Statement of Attainment listing the Unit of Competency attained.

Qualifications and Statements of Attainment will be issued by accessUTS Pty Ltd, RTO no. 90811, which is a wholly owned entity of the University of Technology Sydney.
