Consultants and technical staff from the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering are available to assist you with the testing of a wide range of products and equipment. The laboratory team will work closely with you to determine your testing requirements and the standards that apply. The laboratory is equipped with the following state of the art facilities:
Capable of tests up to 2000kN and 1000mm stroke.
Electronically PID controlled. Used for control of loading rate in either force, position control and strain control. Designed for cyclic fatigue testing or precise loading rates. 1000mm deflection range and 2000kN maximum load.
Versatile high speed/high channel count acquisition systems that can have user interfaces and graphs to suit the client. Systems for long-term remote testing and monitored from the office.
